Get the Look:
1.    Apply mousse to the hair. Blow dry the hair straight with a natural bristle brush, brushing it away from the face then straighten all the hair, from root to tip.
2.    Using a point comb, make a v-section on top of the head, comb the hair back into a tight ponytail and fasten.
3.    Take a narrow section either side of the v-section and twist the hair close to the scalp from the hairline all the way to the ends. Wrap the ends of the twist around the base of the ponytail and secure with pins.
4.    Straighten the ponytail then twist it into a knot and pin it in the desired shape.
5.    Finish by straightening the lengths, gently twisting the straightener at the ends inward.

Look 2: The New Wave. Set hos Alessandro Dell’Acgua, Issa, Salvatore Ferragamo, Temperley og Trend Les Copains.

Get the Look:

1.    Start by adding plenty of mousse to dry hair as this will help to give extra body and hold. Re-dry the hair using a hairdryer and paddle brush. Whilst drying, use the brush to scoop the hair over to the side, keeping the root flat so that you give direction to the hair rather than create volume.
2.    Working from the roots, use the Philips SalonStraight & Curl to straighten hair in sections from root to chin level. The aim is that the hair lies on the scalp as flat as possible. Use tension to do this and remember not to lift the straightener as this will add volume.
3.    For the midlengths, start curling the hair underneath at chin level. Take a section and insert it into the Philips SalonStraight & Curl horizontally and then wrap the hair around it. Slowly pull the straightener down to the ends, making sure to keep the hair wrapped around it.
4.    Brush the hair gently using a natural bristle brush. This will smooth out the curls into soft waves.

Look 1: Power styling. Set på catwalken hos Gucci, Badgley Mischka, Alexander Wang, Julian Macdonald, Narciso Rodriguez og Behnaz Sarapour.

Get the Look:
1.    Blow dry the hair straight with a natural bristle brush, brushing it away from the face. Section off the top area that will form the quiff in a v-shape from the temples back. To make sure it suits your face shape, the front of the v should be the width of the head.
2.    Straighten all the hair (except the v-section) then brush the hair on the sides of the face back and fix with a soft gel or hairspray.
3.    Release the top v-section and straighten it. Clamp the plates as close to the roots as you can then pressing it closed twist it forward and up in an arc as you pull it through to the ends to give volume.
4.    Then back-brush the v-section gently at the roots for support and spray the roots with hairspray. Brush the outer layer of hair very gently backwards to smooth the other layers and form the hair without brushing out the volume. Finish by straightening and smoothing any dishevelled ends. Finish with hairspray.

Marie og jeg blev for nogle uger siden inviteret med til PHILIPs haircare pressedag, men da Marie ikke kunne pga. visionsdag på forlaget, tog jeg afsted alene. Dagen skulle foregå i Amsterdam, så jeg måtte tidlig op torsdag morgen, da jeg skulle med flyet kl. 6.30 fra Tirstrup.

Dagen startede kl. 11.00, hvor vi blev præsenteret for Andy Uffels (PHILIPs Haircare Artistic Director) og hans team, der præsenterede os (diverse bloggere og magasiner) for PHILIPs Haircare Style Autumn-Winter 09/10.

Jeg vil i de næste indlæg præsentere jer for de fem looks, der blev vist (kommer på i morgen). Jeg synes, det er lidt sjovt at se den kommendes sæsons hårmode for man kan ikke lade være med at blive inspireret.

Det blev ikke til noget blogging igår. Jeg var så træt efter Costume festen torsdag, at jeg ikke kunne meget andet end at ligge på sofaen og spise sushi og se dvd’er med kæresten. Lotte er stadig i Amsterdam til et pressemøde. Jeg ville gerne have været med, men vi havde visionsdag på forlaget hele fredag, og det kunne jeg ikke snige mig ud af:-) 

Festen var en succes, kjolen var flot og jeg glæder mig til at se alle billederne derfra på Stylegallery. Og apropos kjole. Jeg ville jo have haft min hvide Alexander Wang kjole på, som faktisk var købt til aftenen, men da jeg stod hjemme foran spejlet, synes jeg pludselig ikke det virkede. Så jeg hoppede istedet i min nye sorte Veronica B. Valleness kjole, som du kan se fra et tidligere indlæg lige her.

Mit lommekamera er desværre blevet smadret og der var ikke plads i tasken til det store spejlrefleks, så billeder tog jeg ikke nogle af. Fandt det her på Youblushblog.com, hvor jeg står sammen med makeupartist Nicci Welsh. Flere billeder kommer tirsdag aften – de skal lige uploades på stylegallery først:-)

Acne og Lanvins samarbejde er nu igen i butikkerne. Kollektionen er en reproduktion af de mest populære items, bare i hvidt japansk (???) denim. Er ret vild med de to jakker i nederste række til højre. Hvilket item er jeres favorit?

Jeg har længe kigget efter et par korte, cool bikerboots. De vil være fine til jeans, men også til et par shorts med bare ben. Har egentlig forelsket mig i dem til venstre fra Golden Goose, men de er simpelthen for dyre (ca. 7100 kr). Derfor blev jeg så glad, da jeg så at Marie (se her) havde fundet disse darlings fra Strategia. Jeg elsker dem og til ca. 1850 kr kan jeg godt se mig selv købe dem. Egentlig tror jeg faktisk også, jeg ville vælge dem selvom money wasn’t an issue. Men hvad siger I?

I have been looking for a pair of short, cool biker boots for a while. I feel in love with the one at the left from Golden Goose but they are way to expensive. Now I found a pair from Strategia and I really like them.

Jeg elsker Chloë Sevignys stil, og derfor elsker jeg også at hun nu har lavet sin 2.kollektion for et af mine yndlingsmærker – Opening Ceremony. Kollektionen er faktisk mest til mænd, men de forskellige styles er heldigvis også lavet i pigestørrelser. Der går nok lige en måned eller to før kollektionen kan købes, men indtil da, kan I blive inspireret af flere billeder fra kollektionen lige her.

I love Chloë Sevigny’s style, which is also why I love that she has made her second collection for Opening Ceremony. Actually it’s a mens collection, but the styles has also been made in small sizes, which would fit a woman.
