That denim-thing is a favourite piece of mine from Phillip Lim’s SS12 collection. Need to find an oversized vintage denimjacket asap and do some customizing. Shouldn’t be hard to find here in LA.

Such a beautiful editorial in the October issue of Numéro Tokyo. I love the longing, lonely and romantic mood in it and like how it shows some of the AW11-trends like sequins, fur and dots in a very low-key way. And Vlada is just stunning. Pictures by  Lina Scheynius.

Smuk, smuk og smuk modeserie med Vlada fra oktober-udgaven af Numéro Tokyo. Jeg elsker længslen, ensomheden og romantikken i billederne. Og så synes jeg det er en forfriskende måde at se et par af AW11 tendenserne (som pailletter, pels og prikker) på. Meget smukt og low-key. Serien er skudt af Lina Scheynius.

My wardrobe is still in serious lack of animal print and especially leopard. And now my mind is set on this leopard collar from Zahara Mai. As you  know my wardrobe is based mainly on an all-black ensemble which is easy as black matches everything and doesn’t require much thought – but sometimes it’s just a little bit boring and a fresh update is much needed. I think I’ll try and incorporate a bit more color – and def. some animal print – perhaps the leopard Madewell boots, a pair of leopard loafers, a snakeskin bag or a leopard collar just like this one.

Min garderobe er i alvorlig mangel på dyreprint og især leopard print. Nu har jeg sat næsen op efter denne leopard krave fra Zahara Mai. Som I ved, så at min garderobe hovedsageligt baseret på et helt igennem sort ensemble, hvilket egentlig er rart nok. Sort matcher alt og kræver ikke så megen eftertanke – men nogle gange er det alligevel bare en lille smule kedeligt og en opdatering er hårdt tiltrængt. Jeg tror, ​​jeg vil forsøge at indarbejde lidt mere farve – og helt sikkert noget mere dyreprint – måske Madewell støvlerne, et par leopard loafers, en slangeskindstaske eller en leopard krave ligesom denne. Lad jagten begynde.

…the pencilskirt. In the latest issue of Costume I have done a little feature showing how to style the pencilskirt. I really like the new knee-lenght – it’s so suitable. However to make it less feminine I would combine the skirt with a casual sweater or T-shirt. And a pair of brogues. In the feature in Costume you’ll find many more pencilskirts, but my favourites are actually the ones I picked for the shoot: white laces from H&M and black knit from Carin Wester. Now I’m off to bed. Have to get up early tomorrow to attend the opening of the new H&M shop-in-shop in Selfridges. Sleep tight.

…pencilskirtet. I det nyeste Costume har jeg stylet fine Maja Mazur i pencilskirts. Den knælange længde er så klædelig og feminin, men også netop derfor synes jeg, at det er fint at kombinere med noget mere casual – en sweatshirt, strik eller T-shirt. Og flade herresko. I kan finde mange flere pencilskirts i artiklen i Costume, men mine favoritter er de to på billedet, som jeg brugte til stylingen: hvide blonder fra H&M og sort strik fra Carin Wester. Nu smutter jeg i seng. Skal tidligt op i morgen og forbi åbningen af den nye H&M shop-in-shop i Selfridges. Sov godt.

There’s something about Mulberry… A while ago I got this truly amazing Mulberry book, which has been created to celebrate Mulberry’s 40th anniversary. The book gives a glimpse inside the Mulberry world with the most beautiful, cheerful and inspiring pictures from the last two years. I can spend hours looking through it. Thank you Mulberry.

Right before I finished at Costume I did this editorial, which is featured in the new issue of Costume. We had this pretty new face flying in from Norway and I absolutely love her look. Once again I worked with the talented photographer Olivia Frølich and Rikke Dengsø, who did her hair and makeup. Same team as when I styled Sommerprint. Such a fun day and I’m really happy with the result. Hope you like it as well.

Lige inden jeg stoppede på Costume stylede jeg denne  budgetvenlige modeserie, som netop er udkommet i det nyeste nummer. Endnu engang havde jeg fornøjelsen af at arbejde sammen med superdygtige Olivia Frølich, som tager de mest fantastiske billeder. Og som sidst, hvor jeg stylede serien Sommerprint, var det også denne gang Rikke Dengsø, der stod for hår og makeup. Vi fløj den fineste new face ind fra Norge og jeg er fuldstændig betaget af hendes look. Og så var hun i øvrigt også den sødeste at arbejde med. Vi havde en virkelig sjov og hyggelig dag og jeg er glad for resultatet. Håber også I kan lide det.

When in Copenhagen I met Pernille (junior fashion editor at Eurowoman) and her Chanel bag at the Stine Goya show. I’m so enviuos. It’s beautiful and might just be the perfect Chanel bag. Hopefully one day I’ll be wearing one as well…

I København mødte jeg Pernille (ass. moderedaktør på Eurowoman) og hendes Chanel-taske. Jeg er så misundelig. Det er uden tvivl den mest perfekte Chanel-taske jeg har set.

I love love love this seasons Miu Miu look with wide shoulders and Peter Pan collars – it’s one of my absolute favourite collections this fall (see previous blogpost here).  When browsing FashionGoneRogue for inspiration this morning these pictures shot by Camilla Åkrans for Vogue Japan caught my attention. The surroundings, the lightning, the model (Aline Weber) and the sexy feeling in the pictures. Just perfect.

One of the coolest couples in the fashion/music industry: mr and mrs. Hince. I guess you all know by now, that they just got married – and celebrated for three-day. All very rock’n'roll. The bride wore Galliano and the groom YSL and Raybans.

Et af de nok sejeste par i mode/musik-industrien: mr. og mrs. Hince. Som I nok ved, så er det netop blevet gift og fejrede i tre dage. Meget rock’n'roll. Bruden var iført Galliano og gommen YSL og Raybans.
