The other day I was early for a brunch appointment at Østerbro in Copenhagen and therefore I popped into Second, a luxury second hand shop located at Østerbrogade 125, Copenhagen Ø. You guys should really go. They sell luxury secondhand clothes and accessories and are really good at selecting the right items. It isn’t cheap but of course a lot cheaper than if you had to buy at the original prices. Here are a few of the things I found.I didn’t buy anything – though I really wanted the Chanel shoes, the Philip Lim vest and the Miu Miu vest/dress.

I sold my Mini Brenda bag from Alexander Wang some time back. I still think it’s crazy cool but I’ve just seen it a bit to much of it. Since then I haven’t really fall in love in any Wang bags, well until I saw this one. The Lydia clutch. It’s crazy cool and I love that it’s blue and not black – and the snakeskin-ish material. You can make it a bit bigger by opening the zips which is really cool – because you sometimes do need that extra space. Unfortunately I can’t really afford to buy a new bag right now as I just added another greatly wanted bag to my wardrobe.

For noget tid siden solgte jeg min Mini Brenda taske fra Alexander Wang. Jeg synes stadig, den er rigtig cool, men jeg havde bare set den lidt for meget i bybilledet. LIge siden der har jeg ikke rigtig forelsket mig i en Wang-taske. Eller ihvertfald ikke før jeg så denne: Lydia.clutchen. Den er jo crazy cool og jeg er vild med at den er blå og ikke sort – og også det slangeskindsagtige materiale. Den kan blive en smule større hvis du åbner lynlåsene, hvilket er rart, da man nogle gange bare har brug for lidt ekstra plads.

I’m obsessed about knits these days. Every time I see that perfect chunky one, I just wanna try it and add it to my wardrobe asap. Knits somehow works with everything, from skirts to dresses to jeans to leather leggings and even bare-legged. I really like the chunky, asymmetrical one from Carin Wester and the yellow one from Sibin/Linnebjerg. I found all of them at Flying A in Kronprinsesgade in Copenhagen. Wow, was I surprised when I walked in there. I had to check the sign outside one more time before I was sure, I was at the right place. What a complete make-over. In both decor and stock.

Jeg er besat af strik for tiden. Hver gang jeg finder den perfekte chunky af slagsen, hopper jeg straks i den og kunne have købt de første 10 af slagsen. Strik fungerer bare med alt – samtidig med at det ser lækkert ud – jeans, kjoler, nederdele, læder leggings og selv med bare ben. Jeg er ret tosser med den hvide asymmetriske fra Carin Wester og den gule fra Sibin/Linnebjerg. Jeg fandt alle fem i Flying A, hvor jeg er blevet anbefalet at gå hen. Og hvor blev jeg overrasket. Jeg husker Flying A først som den her totalt seje butik, jeg ALTID skulle besøge, når jeg kom med fire-toget fra Horsens, og senere som en butik, jeg ikke helt kunne overskue og egentlig ikke gad. Men der er da virkelig sket noget. Jeg måtte tjekke skiltet udenfor en ekstra gang fordi jeg troede, jeg var gået forkert. Sikke en makeover – både i forhold til lokaler og varelageret.

There are sooo many great bags for SS 2012. Can’t really decided my favorites – but I’m really looking forward to seeing the Celine-collection. But there are also different ways to carry it. Take a hint from Balenciaga and Philip Lim, they know what they’re talking about.

Der er så mange mega cool tasker i SS2012-kollektionerne. Jeg kan ikke helt finde ud af hvilken, der er min favorit, Philip Lim og Balenciaga ligger højt på listen, men jeg venter i spænding på Celine. Men udover alle de pæne, pæne tasker, er der også forskellige måde at bære dem. Man kan jo vælge at tage et hint fra Philip Lim og Balenciaga… jeg er personligt fan af at bære tasken gennem remmene.

I’m so happy! COS has finally opened a webshop. It didn’t even take a week from we heard the rumors till it opened. Never again will I have to miss out on COS pieces just because I moved to Los Angeles. Well, it could be better as they’re only shipping within Europe, but luckily I have a very sweet mom, who I’m sure would love to send me my COS-fix (right, mom?). I’ve already placed my first order… I’m sure you’re about to do the same in a minute.

First thing tomorrow I’m gonna go buy a hair-clip and do a copycat of the Tibi S/S 2012 hair. Simple and beautiful. For the catwalk they parted the hair in the side but you could just as well part it in the middle. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Som det første i morgen vil jeg købe mig et hårspænde og forsøge at lave en copycat af Tibi’s S/S 2012 hår. Simpelt og smukt. Til catwalken havde de lavet en sideskilning, men du kan også sagtens lave den i midten, hvis det klæder dig bedre.

I bought these two lace pencil skirts in Zara the other day. Now I just need the H&M version and then I probably have enough lace… but on the other hand, who am I kidding. I LOVE lace. They were 40 pounds each which isn’t to0 bad at all. I’m gonna wear them with big chunky knits and loafers. I really need to go find some leopard loafers NOW. How great would that be.

Den anden dag købte jeg to blondenederdele i Zara. Nu mangler jeg bare den hvide fra H&M’s Conscious Collectionen og jeg er all set. De kostede 40 pund pr. stk, hvilket er en ganske fin pris. Jeg har tænkt at bruge dem med oversize strikbluser og loafers (gerne leopard).

Those of you who follow us at Facebook or read the comments in the recent post about the black leathersleeved coats might noticed that a dear reader (who happens to work in Cos) shared some great news with us. Apparently Cos is opening a webshop. No date has yet been set, but I cross my fingers and hope for it to be soon. And pray that it is not just some rumor. We’ll keep you updated…  Till then I might have to get Lotte to buy me the grey dress. Love the mustard skirt as well, but can’t decide if it is too similar to the skirt I have from Acne. What do you think?

I’m a true Altuzzarra-fan. I have a serious crush on the shoes (picture 7 and 9), the belt (picture 8), the green knitted sweater (look 2) and for sure the print. Wow. Behind the brand is Joseph Altuzzarra and I’m sure we’ll definitely see some of his clothes on the fashionistas out there, I’m think Anna Dello Russo.

Theyskens’ Theory is another brand I get excited about. I’m seriously craving the white dress (look 1), the leather pants (look 2) and the leather top (look 3).  Still remember meeting Olivier Theyskens in Paris last year. The poor guy really just wanted to go to the restroom but I kept hanging on to him because I really wanted a picture. OMG! Sorry Olivier.

So many great wardrobe staples in A.L.C’s Spring Summer 2012 collection. There is actually at least an item (or more) in each look that I would really really like to add to my closet. I’m all about look 5 and 8…. luckily at least look 5 is pretty easy to copy. I’m still searching for a cool white shirt – perhaps I should have a closer look at A.L.C.

New York and London Fashion Week is now over. Bring on Milan and Paris.

And a little in Danish: Kære alle jer, der havde tænkt at deltage i tøjsalget søndag den 3. oktober. Arrangementet er desværre blevet aflyst pga. lokaleproblemer. Vi vender tilbage, når vi har en ny dato.
