I’m sure you’ve all seen the genius Lanvin fall 2011 campaign movie with the dancing models (and if not, watch it here). David Sherwin did the happiest remade of the campaign video at NY fashion week – with fashion people instead of models. It’s impossible not to smile.

My three favorite looks from Ann-Sofie Back Atelje Spring 2012. The collection is very clean, minimalistic and chick and I can imaging myself wearing practically everything. The top on look two is very similar to a Stella McCartney shirt from this season – ohhh, I want it so bad but unfortunately it’s way out of my price range. Did you know that Ann-Sofie Back is also the creative director of Cheap Monday and works as a stylist and fashion editor for Self Service and Purple magazine? Busy woman. I swear, sometimes Marie and I think synchronously. I was looking through the Philip Lim collection at Style.com when she posted Do the Denim. I totally agree, the denim what-ever-it-is is also one of my favorite item from the collection… which I – by the way -  LOVE. Not because it’s new and ground-breaking. But because it just plain lush. You can see that it’s all quality, the materials are gorgeous and the fit is just perfect. I really, really, really like the bags and I want all the above three. Wow. Style.com calls it a sartorial sorbet, I agree. Please do yourself a favour and check it out – luckily there are tons of picture of both look, details and beauty at Style.com.

Great J.Crew Spring 2012 collection. The brand is really gaining ground and with good reason. Great clothes at affordable prices. J.Crew does great basic clothes which this collection also displays perfectly. I know, it’s nothing new, we’ve already seen the pencil skirts, slouchy shirts and 60′s shorts but it doesn’t make it any less desirable. I’m a big fan. And I guess, I do have to wear more color… all the collections I’m showing you is nothing but color. Do you think it would work on me?

What I’ll try and do myself? Mix animal patterns, well actually any patterns, buy the flat leopard loafers as well as the leopard bag, wear narrow waistlines and go find that pencil skirt.

Virkelig fin J. Crew Spring 2012 kollektion. Mærket vinder virkelig terræn i disse dage og med god grund. Smukt tøj til overkommelige priser. J. Crew er virkelig god til basis-tøj, hvilket denne kollektion også viser. Jeg ved godt at der som sådan ikke er noget nyt. Vi har allerede set pencilskirt, oversize bluser og 60′er shorts, men det gør ikke kollektion mindre attraktiv. Jeg er i hvert fald en stor tilhænger af mærket. Og jeg tror, jeg er nødt til at begynde at klæde mig mere i farver. Alle kollektionerne, jeg viser jer, er jo stort set kun farver. Tror I, det ville klæde mig?

Hvad vil jeg selv forsøge mig med? at mikse dyreprint – eller faktisk ethvert print, købe leopard loafers og taske og komme afsted og finde den pencilskirt.

Six of my favourite looks from Preen S/S 2012. I love the femininity and all those laces, ruffles and waistlines – but I guess you can tell by my pick of favorite looks. I also really like the choice of colors: from white to pastel to navy to neon to black. I’m definitely a fan. How about you? And points for using those bright neon colors underneath the laces, I’m detecting a pattern, dear readers – we must get a hold of neon bras, petticoats and accessories for next summer. I’m definitely going to style my Wackerhaus lace top with a neon pink bra. Can’t wait to show you and hear what you think.

Thank you so much Ditte for adding new cravings to my wish list – grrr. I’m been loving Dannijo‘s jewelery for a really long time and the love didn’t get any less when I found these necklaces. They are simply fabulous. Ditte’s posts about them, led me to the Man Repeller which in less than five minutes was added to my list of favorite blogs. It is absolutely brilliant, extremely inspirational and plain fun. I love a girl who isn’t afraid to be self-ironic. Anyway back to the necklaces… let me properly introduce you to Aram and Sinatra, my new best friends.  Won’t they just brighten any outfit? I believe so, so I have to – pretty soon – break the piggy bank. Are you with me?

I quite like the Rag&Bone Spring 2012 collection… and especially some of the details which I will definitely try and work into my own style. It was a rather sporty collection with loads’n'loads of layering and a lot of bright (neon) colors. I think I’ll try the following myself:

- putting my bracelet outside of my sleeves. I like the expression of it: very cool, yet casual

- wearing a bright neon bra underneath my chunky knit. It makes the look very fashion forward and parts with the cozy look a chunky knit often gives

- layering a pencil skirt (don’t think I’ll do the plastic pencil skirt though) with (yet again) a chunky knit

- wearing bright colored clutches

In order to do this, I need to purchase: chunky knits and neon accessories and bras (American Apparel might come in handy here). I’ll try my luck tomorrow.

Did you all see that Proenza Schouler did the PS1 in Burgundy? It is absolutely amazing, I love it. I had a hard time with all the burgundy to begin with but I must say, I changed my mind. Late mover, I know. Now I’m in love with all burgundy – and especially these trousers that I really want for LFW next week. I would like to wear them with a white shirt, a big statement necklace and then of course the above bag.

Har I set at Proenza Schouler har lavet PS1 i bordeaux? Den er fuldstændig fantastisk. Til at starte med havde jeg det lidt svært med at bordeaux pludselig skulle være sæsonens it-farve, men nu elsker jeg den. Late mover, ja, jeg ved det. Jeg er ret vild med de her bukser, som jeg gerne tog på næste uge til LFW.
