Céline just showed in Paris and no surprise – I really like the chunky shoes. Especially the black ones. I’m sure they’ll be one of the most hyped items next season.

The other day I was early for a brunch appointment at Østerbro in Copenhagen and therefore I popped into Second, a luxury second hand shop located at Østerbrogade 125, Copenhagen Ø. You guys should really go. They sell luxury secondhand clothes and accessories and are really good at selecting the right items. It isn’t cheap but of course a lot cheaper than if you had to buy at the original prices. Here are a few of the things I found.I didn’t buy anything – though I really wanted the Chanel shoes, the Philip Lim vest and the Miu Miu vest/dress.

I sold my Mini Brenda bag from Alexander Wang some time back. I still think it’s crazy cool but I’ve just seen it a bit to much of it. Since then I haven’t really fall in love in any Wang bags, well until I saw this one. The Lydia clutch. It’s crazy cool and I love that it’s blue and not black – and the snakeskin-ish material. You can make it a bit bigger by opening the zips which is really cool – because you sometimes do need that extra space. Unfortunately I can’t really afford to buy a new bag right now as I just added another greatly wanted bag to my wardrobe.

For noget tid siden solgte jeg min Mini Brenda taske fra Alexander Wang. Jeg synes stadig, den er rigtig cool, men jeg havde bare set den lidt for meget i bybilledet. LIge siden der har jeg ikke rigtig forelsket mig i en Wang-taske. Eller ihvertfald ikke før jeg så denne: Lydia.clutchen. Den er jo crazy cool og jeg er vild med at den er blå og ikke sort – og også det slangeskindsagtige materiale. Den kan blive en smule større hvis du åbner lynlåsene, hvilket er rart, da man nogle gange bare har brug for lidt ekstra plads.

It’s such a beautiful collection from Balenciaga. In my opinion the best we’ve seen from Paris so far. I’m totally into those ultrashort shorts with the boxy jackets and tops, the highwaisted pants and of course – the bags (which like this season are to be carried in the hand and not on the shoulder).

During the next couple of days some of my other favourite designers such as Cacharel, Givenchy, Céline, Stella McCartney, Chloé, YSL and Miu Miu will show wthat’s on their mind for SS12. Can’t wait. And then there’s of course Chanel and Louis Vuitton…

I’m obsessed about knits these days. Every time I see that perfect chunky one, I just wanna try it and add it to my wardrobe asap. Knits somehow works with everything, from skirts to dresses to jeans to leather leggings and even bare-legged. I really like the chunky, asymmetrical one from Carin Wester and the yellow one from Sibin/Linnebjerg. I found all of them at Flying A in Kronprinsesgade in Copenhagen. Wow, was I surprised when I walked in there. I had to check the sign outside one more time before I was sure, I was at the right place. What a complete make-over. In both decor and stock.

Jeg er besat af strik for tiden. Hver gang jeg finder den perfekte chunky af slagsen, hopper jeg straks i den og kunne have købt de første 10 af slagsen. Strik fungerer bare med alt – samtidig med at det ser lækkert ud – jeans, kjoler, nederdele, læder leggings og selv med bare ben. Jeg er ret tosser med den hvide asymmetriske fra Carin Wester og den gule fra Sibin/Linnebjerg. Jeg fandt alle fem i Flying A, hvor jeg er blevet anbefalet at gå hen. Og hvor blev jeg overrasket. Jeg husker Flying A først som den her totalt seje butik, jeg ALTID skulle besøge, når jeg kom med fire-toget fra Horsens, og senere som en butik, jeg ikke helt kunne overskue og egentlig ikke gad. Men der er da virkelig sket noget. Jeg måtte tjekke skiltet udenfor en ekstra gang fordi jeg troede, jeg var gået forkert. Sikke en makeover – både i forhold til lokaler og varelageret.

There are sooo many great bags for SS 2012. Can’t really decided my favorites – but I’m really looking forward to seeing the Celine-collection. But there are also different ways to carry it. Take a hint from Balenciaga and Philip Lim, they know what they’re talking about.

Der er så mange mega cool tasker i SS2012-kollektionerne. Jeg kan ikke helt finde ud af hvilken, der er min favorit, Philip Lim og Balenciaga ligger højt på listen, men jeg venter i spænding på Celine. Men udover alle de pæne, pæne tasker, er der også forskellige måde at bære dem. Man kan jo vælge at tage et hint fra Philip Lim og Balenciaga… jeg er personligt fan af at bære tasken gennem remmene.

I love when the fashion week hits Paris where most of my favourite designers are showing. Carven is for sure one of them. It’s wearable, affordable (almost) and I love the girly quirkyness, which characterizes the French house. The ss12 collection is colorful and with classic Carven-pieces like the highwaisted shorts, the collars and the cutouts. Nothing new, but very pretty and very chic. I especially love the bottom look with the cropped top and the pencilskirt. Gorgeous.

I’m so happy! COS has finally opened a webshop. It didn’t even take a week from we heard the rumors till it opened. Never again will I have to miss out on COS pieces just because I moved to Los Angeles. Well, it could be better as they’re only shipping within Europe, but luckily I have a very sweet mom, who I’m sure would love to send me my COS-fix (right, mom?).
